Spring daffodils, Roath Park, Cardiff

Two years ago, we launched our Chill Cymru YouTube video series, a collection of ASMR inspired soundscapes and slow journeys through Wales, designed to bring the sights and sounds of Wales directly to you. Created as a way to slow down and take a moment, the series has grown into a calming digital escape, offering everything from coastal horizons to mountain stillness and the gentle rhythms of everyday Welsh landscapes.

We’ve travelled across Wales, capturing the landscape through the seasons, to create a collection of videos to soothe your hiraeth, wherever you are in the world.

Whether you are marking St David’s Day at home or simply looking for a moment of peace in a busy day, Chill Cymru invites you to experience Wales in its most unhurried form.

Three Cliffs Bay, Gower

A window into Wales

Enjoy relaxing soundscapes and unhurried journeys through a wide range of locations. Choose between films with natural audio or gentle, atmospheric music. Each video is shaped by the place it captures — waves rolling along the coast, streams winding through woodland, or clouds drifting across open hillsides. There’s no storyline to follow and no order to stick to. Dip into a single scene or let the playlist move between locations.
