Easter in Wales

This weekend, many people will be gathering with their friends and family to relax and celebrate Easter. With 2 bank holidays either side of the weekend (the first bank holidays since New Year’s Day), it will be a welcome break for many and a chance to do things they enjoy.

Easter is a key date in the Christian calendar and will be celebrated in the cathedrals, churches and chapels of Wales, including St David’s Cathedral, the church of our Patron Saint in St David’s, Pembrokeshire.

There’s plenty to do all-year-round in Wales and Easter is no exception, with many special events taking place all over Wales you’re sure to find something to keep you entertained.

Our sister site, Visit Wales have some great ideas for spring activities, Easter and short breaks.

Entertain the children by taking them to one of Cadw’s annual Easter egg hunts, taking place at several castles and other locations in Wales. Get outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and wonderful Welsh scenery by taking a walk.

Whatever you choose to do - have a great weekend! Happy Easter from everyone at Wales.com.

Please note: many public transport services have alterations over Easter, so please double check the provider’s website for updates before you travel.
