How to Enter

By completing and supplying your email address at, you will be in with a chance of winning £500.

There is one prize - a cheque for £500.00 that will be awarded to the Winner at the end of 2019 calendar year.

The following terms and conditions apply

Prize Draw entries will be accepted from 00.00 (midnight) 05 September 2019 (the “Opening Date”).

Closing Date

The Prize Draw will close on 17:00 on 08 December 2019 (the “Closing Date”).

How to Participate

To enter this Prize Draw, the entrant must complete and submit the entry form at by the Closing Date.

Entrants must be natural persons, residents of the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland and be aged 18 or older.  Furthermore, they must not be employees (or have family/ household members) that are employed by Welsh Government or its suppliers - including holding or subsidiary organisations that are professionally connected with this Prize Draw or its administration.

Only one entry per person is allowed; collective submissions will be excluded, and entries on behalf of another person are not permitted.

On submitting an entry, the entrant agrees that all global copyright, privacy, and publicity surrounding the Prize Draw will be held by the Promoter.  In addition to this, they consent to the relinquishing of all rights they may be entitled to in connection with this Prize Draw immediately or in the future.

The Promoter will not be liable for entries received after the Closing Date - including those that are lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise.  Entries received following the Closing Date will be omitted from the Prize Draw.

Entries that are incomplete and/or unintelligible will be disregarded from the Prize Draw.

The Promoter will not accept delivery receipts as confirmation of Prize Draw entry submissions.

In the submission of a Prize Draw entry, the entrant consents to the Terms and Conditions described here - including for the Promoter and any organisations connected with it to store and use all personal data given.

There is one prize to be won: a cheque for £500.00.

The Prize is non-transferable or redeemable for cash or another prize.

Selection of the Winner

One winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries by the Promoter or a designated administrator by 16 December 2019.

The Promoter's decision is final and no communication will be entered into.

The Winner consents to their name and a photograph of them to be used by the Promoter for publicity purposes. Furthermore, this promotional activity can include the Winner being recorded for video content to be featured on and it’s accompanying social media platforms.

The Promoter is hosting the Prize Draw as part of its promotional activities. The Promoter may request the Winner to be photographed and/or recorded for publicity purposes on and its accompanying social media platforms

Notification of the Results and Receipt of the Prize

The name of the Winner will be made available to the public for up to 28-days following the Closing Date by sending an email to and including in the email's subject line - Attention of Jon Munro, Wales.Com Website Survey Prize Draw 2019.

The Winner will be notified using the email given; if the Winner does not reply to the Promoter within seven-days confirming they are content to receive the Prize then another winner will be randomly chosen.  The Winner will receive the Prize within a reasonable period following their confirmation email to the Promoter.

The Promoter’s Prize Draw is final.

There is no legal justification for the delivery of a Prize and challenging this using the legal system is restricted.

Data Protection takes the collection, usage, and management of personal data seriously.

On completion of the intercept survey on the, your data will be collected and stored till the end of the year where it will be entered into the Prize Draw.  The Promoter may use your data including photographs and/or recorded media for promotional purposes on and its accompanying social media platforms.  Furthermore, if you agree to be contacted in the future, you may get future tourism research surveys.  As a consequence, your data will be shared with a contracted research company for evaluation purposes. 


Entrance into the Prize Draw is free but you will require access to the Internet; as a result, that may incur charges.

The Terms and Conditions, here, will be administered by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.

All enquires relating to Prize Draw must be addressed to the Promoter at the address detailed above.

Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter or organisations that are professionally connected with this Prize Draw or its administration will not be responsible in compensating the Winner or accepting liability for the loss, destruction, injury or death that may occur as a consequence of receiving the Prize.  The exception will be in the occurrence of the said above happens as a consequence of neglect on behalf of the Promoter or organisations that are associated with this Prize Draw or its administration.

If an entrant has cause to believe that the Terms and Conditions here have been breached, the Promoter, as a result, may exclude the entrant from the Prize Draw.

The Promoter has the right to void, postpone, withdraw, or revise the Prize Draw as required.
