Chinese delegation to strengthen links with Swanse
A Chinese delegation is to visit Swansea University’s College of Medicine this week to help mark the life of a Swansea man who founded one of the oldest hospitals in China.
The visitors, from Hankou Union Hospital which is affiliated to Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, are to visit Swansea to commemorate the centenary of the death of the founder of the hospital, Dr Griffith John, a Swansea born missionary who worked in Hankou for more than 50 years.
