Director Gideon Koppel’s Sleep Furiously has won the Guardian’s best first film award. The film itself is set in a small farming community in rural mid Wales, where small scale agriculture is disappearing. It has been described as a poetic and profound journey into a world of endings and beginnings.
The New York premiere of Sleep Furiously takes place on 24 February followed by a discussion with film maker Gideon Koppel. Take a look at our USA What’s On page for details.
