Climate in Wales in spring
A beautiful spring day in Bute Park, Cardiff

In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours ~ Mark Twain.

Twain wasn't talking about Wales, but we know how he felt! Spring can be a bit unpredictable. Especially at the start of the season, the weather can vary from quite mild to snowing.

That said, as spring progresses it becomes milder and we enjoy longer days, with it getting lighter earlier and staying lighter much later in the evening. The clocks move forward one hour onto British Summer Time at the end of March. It stays light until around 9pm by late May.
