Llanllyr Source may be a relative newcomer to the water market, but it's won awards including Food from Britain's Drinks Exporter of the Year. The company, which began as a farm diversification in Talsarn, produces premium quality bottled waters that are now sold in top hotels all over the world including the Beverly Hills Hotel. Llanllyr has also launched its natural water in a recyclable aluminium can in response to growing environmental concerns.

Penderyn is the only distillery in Wales and one of the smallest in the world. Here the Welsh Whisky Company produces Penderyn Single Malt Whisky and a range of high quality Welsh Spirits such as Merlyn Liqueur, Brecon Vodka and Brecon Gin. Visitors can now learn about the distilling process at the recently opened visitor centre.

Llanerch Vineyard sits in more than 20 acres of Glamorgan countryside. It's the largest and oldest vineyard in Wales. Visitors can take a tour to see the six different varieties of grapevines and taste wine from the award winning Cariad range. There’s also a restaurant, accommodation and a cookery school!

SA Brain & Co Ltd brews the best known and biggest selling beer in Wales. Brain's is proud of its strong Welsh heritage. It brings together centuries of brewing tradition and all ales are produced according to time-honoured methods at the company's landmark brewery in the heart of Cardiff. There are over 200 Brains pubs across South Wales, the West Country and central Cardiff.

The World's smallest commercial brewery is located just outside Aberystwyth in West Wales. The Tynllidiart Arms is a restaurant that offers good food made from local ingredients and has a large homely bar downstairs. Here you can enjoy your meal with Tynllidiart’s own beer, brewed in a 5ft by 5ft outbuilding.
