New Monopoly game for Wales
What do
Wales Millennium Centre
,
Cardiff Castle
and the
Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama
all have in common? Ok, so the title gave it away but they're all appearing on the new Cardiff Monopoly board game launched this week.
After an online public vote, Wales Millennium Centre took the prime location on the board (equivalent of Mayfair) and was home to the official launch earlier in the week.
Other landmarks you may recognise include the
Senedd
, the
Millennium Stadium
and
National Museum Cardiff
. The local rugby and football teams also get a mention alongside several of the city's parks.
However, Cardiff isn't the first Welsh city to be immortalised by the famous board game. Swansea got it's own game back in 2005 featuring
Morgans Hotel
, the
Dylan Thomas Centre
and the
National Waterfront Museum
.
