Cardiff sees the last of its Olympic Football tonight with the men’s Bronze Medal match at the Millennium Stadium between South Korea and Japan.

Over the past couple of weeks fans of Team GB, New Zealand, Cameroon, Brazil, Egypt, Japan, South Africa, Mexico, Switzerland, Uruguay and South Korea have all been in Wales cheering their teams on and invariably, win or loose, they’ve enjoyed the warm Welsh welcome.

They’ve been impressed by the stadium which has seen some great Olympic action and excited crowds. They’ve told us they’ve enjoyed the city centre venue for it’s closeness to the many shops, pubs and restaurants in the city centre, we hope they've all had a great time.

The Millennium stadium hosts many sporting events throughout the year, including the Six nations rugby internationals games. The next big event at the stadium is the Speedway Grand Prix on 25 August.

The city centre venue is also used as a concert venue with many big names including Madonna, the Rolling Stones and Welsh band the Stereophonics.
