Actor Michael Sheen nominated for Emmy Award
We’re really pleased to hear Welshman actor Michael Sheen has been nominated for a prestigious Emmy Award for his portrayal of Tony Blair in political drama The Special Relationship.
And another Welshman, actor Jonathan Pryce, was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of widower Mr Buxton in the acclaimed BBC One drama Return to Cranford.
The Emmy Awards – the US "television Oscars" – will be given out on 29 August at a ceremony to be broadcast live on NBC in America.
