Acclaimed Indian dance company tour Wales

From 30 April – 11 May, acclaimed Indian dance company Natya STEM Dance Kampni will perform two eye-catching and beautiful dance productions at venues around Wales.

Sanjog uses six Kathak dancers to show the purity and virtuosity of the dance style that inspired the birth of the Flamenco. Followed by Vajra (Diamond), a multimedia production that uses Kathak, martial arts and contemporary dance to create radiant poetic interpretations of the duality of diamonds and lightning.

STEM Dance Kampni hosted National Dance Company during its ground-breaking tour of India last December when NDCWales visited Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi, as part of an artistic exchange.

STEM’s tour to Wales is an exchange with NDCWales supported by Welsh Government, British Council & Wales Arts International.  Find out more about Wales' links with India on our International pages
