Leading experts on the life and music of Bob Dylan are gathering in Cardiff today at an event held by Cardiff University’s School of European Studies.

Bob Dylan’s Birthday Bash celebrates the career of the legendary singer-songwriter who turned 70 this year.

Dylan, a famous fan of the late Welsh poet - Dylan Thomas, has a career that has spanned over five decades.

The event also explores the music icon’s connections to Dylan Thomas (whose birthday has also recently been celebrated) featuring some of the world’s top authorities on both men.
