Climate

Couple on coast path in winter near Amlwch, Anglesey

The climate in Wales is temperate. We have warm summers and mild winters, with rainfall throughout the year. In winter we regularly have snow, but mainly on the mountains. Snow on lower lying land tends to come and go within a few days. The temperature varies between 1.1  and 7.4 °C.

The weather rarely stops people getting out and about for business or pleasure.
