Venue Cymru

We have a wide variety of music and entertainment venues across Wales, both big and small -

 

Wales Millennium Centre

The Wales Millennium Centre is home to the Welsh National Opera. It is one of the largest theatres in the world and hosts ballet, theatre, opera and dance, all under one roof.


Motorpoint Arena (formerly Cardiff International Arena)

Opened by local legend Dame Shirley Bassey in 1993, the Motorpoint Arena has hosted top international acts such as Sir Tom Jones, Elton John, Iron Maiden, The Killers, Oasis, Kings of Leon and Lady Gaga to name just a few.


St David’s Hall

St David’s Hall in Cardiff plays host to jazz, soul, pop, rock, dance, children’s theatre, ballet and musicals. It is also home to the biannual BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition.


Venue Cymru

Venue Cymru (pictured) is located on the promenade in Llandudno on the beautiful North Wales coast. The large arts venue has a theatre, conference centre and arena and hosts a variety of entertainment, concerts and events.


Llangollen Pavilion

Home to the Llangollen International Eisteddfod of Music and Dance, the Llangollen Pavilion has entertainment and concerts all year round.


Clwb Ifor Bach

Also known as ‘The Welsh Club’, Clwb Ifor Bach is a great place to see unsigned and local talent in Cardiff. Clwb has also been venue of choice for many big acts such as Super Furry Animals and Bullet for My Valentine for more intimate gigs.


The Gate

Another venue for initmate gigs is The Gate, in the Roath suburb in Cardiff. The venue features a wide variety of gigs, concerts even opera.


Tramshed

The Tramshed is Cardiff’s newest live music and entertainment venue. Set within a historical building of great cultural significance, features live music and entertainment.


Central Station Venue

Based in Wrexham, North Wales, Central Station Venue has regular gigs both day and night. The venue has an impressive list of previous artists, including Biffy Clyro, The Kooks, Robert Plant, Grandmaster Flash, INME and The Blackout.


The Factory

Set in the heart of the Rhondda Valleys, The Factory provides regular gigs in a unique and historic building. When it was known as 'The Pop Factory' it played host to the TV show of the same name which launched the career of Steve Jones (former host of the X Factor USA). 


Chapter Arts Centre

Chapter is one of Europe's largest and most dynamic arts centres with cinemas, theatres, exhibition spaces, studios and an international reputation for excellence, innovation and collaboration. It presents over 1000 events a year including theatre, dance, art and music.


The Parrot Music Bar & Café

The Parrot is an independent performance venue, bar and café in the heart of Carmarthen, South West Wales. It offers a friendly, relaxed cafe experience with fresh healthy food options by day. And by night, there is a variety of entertainment from live music, DJs, comedy and one off events.


Many of our sporting arenas host concerts and gigs such as Principality Stadium and the Liberty Stadium.
